THE GARDEN is my second solo album of 2019.
It follows my first release DEER AND THE SNOW, which is a ambient folk album dedicated to exploring my inner wintery landscape and relationship with self.
THE GARDEN is a beat-diver, electronic tribute to my wild summers of turbulent love and lust over the last twenty plus years. It is the harvest of my relationship struggles past and present, and an ode to the confusing process of navigating my bodily and heart-filled desires within the oppressive confines of a monogamous and shame-based over-culture as a person in a female body.
These songs are earnest expressions of my sexual and sensual authenticity, my real life fantasies come true, my unrequited heartbreaks, my shroud of shame, and my self-actualized redemption into my own garden of earthly delights - into which you all are invited to play with me.
I want to sincerely thank all my lovers throughout time for being my most humbling of teachers.
Huge thank you to all my friends, family, and healing community for seeing me through the messy ups and downs.
And as always, thank you to all of you who listen and support my art.
